Information and Advocacy

Centre of Excellence – Deafblind (CoE – DB)

Our team engages with the community members who are deafblind, clients of Able Australia, key stakeholders, and others about Centre of Excellence through social media (Facebook, website, and Twitter), newsletters (through emails) and reference committee meetings.

This includes:

  • Disseminate current information about best practice and activities in DB to support best practice being undertaken by the Centre of Excellence through monthly newsletters.

  • Develop positive partnership with Senses Australia and the National Deafblind information hub to avoid any duplications.

The Centre of Excellence has a bi-monthly newsletter: Deafblind Connect. The newsletter includes updates on the activities of the Centre of Excellence – Deafblind and also other services and groups around Australia.
