The Centre of Excellence – Deafblind has established a reference group, to allow people involved within the deafblind space to provide guidance. All members of the reference group have an interest in supporting people who are deafblind and improving their quality of life through evidence based best practices. Reference group members are located around Australia, and have a range of communication methods including Auslan and oral / aural.
The primary aims of the CoEDBRG are:
To assist the Centre of Excellence – Deafblind to achieve their aims
To provide advice / information regarding training, research throughout Australia and internationally about deafblindness.
To raise awareness of the Centre of Excellence – Deafblind and its activities through personal and professional networks.
