Able Australia’s Creative Arts Therapy Group program is back!

Come along to our group program designed to support adults with intellectual disabilities experiencing social isolation.

This program includes a range of creative arts such as movement, art, dance and sound as a vehicle to explore social connectedness, build self-confidence, promote autonomy and enhance overall quality of life.

Creative Arts Therapy is the relational and therapeutic use of the creative arts such as art, sound, movement and dance to support people’s health and wellbeing. It offers a space for clients to express themselves, play and interact with others and the world around them.

This group program is also less expensive than private sessions.

“Being a creative arts therapist is a privilege, I love being able to work with the clients and support them to explore various ways to connect with their creativity. I enjoy seeing clients find joy in moving their bodies or when clients discover a new art-making process that is meaningful to them” says Able Creative Arts Therapist, Helena.
