Able Australia is pleased to announce that 10 Supported Independent Living Services have been transitioned from Melbourne City Mission (MCM) to Able, as of 11 July 2022.
As part of this, Able has welcomed approximately 40 participants and almost 100 staff into the Able Community. MCM approached Able to partner on this transition, recognising Able’s reputation as a specialist and quality SIL provider with ambitions to grow its offering further.
Able Australia CEO, Ms Lynette McKeown says “Able Australia is delighted to use our SIL expertise, coupled with our commitment to high-quality and person-centred services to support more participants. This transition reinforces our commitment to invest and grow across Australia and to continue to deliver quality and sustainable services under the NDIS.”
Able Australia now supports participants in over 60 Supported Independent Living houses, with the transitioned houses mostly located in Melbourne’s North and North West.
