During the festive period, our Queensland team hosted many Christmas parties for our senior clients who are a part of our Active Living Program for Seniors (ALPS). This program offers seniors in the South East Queensland community a number of free interactive workshops, activities and events to help reduce social isolation and improve the health for people over 65.

At some of these parties, our senior clients wrote a Christmas Card which we delivered to our clients who use our Meals on Wheels program – a program that offers members of the community low-cost freshly cooked meals, delivered to your door.

Children from local Primary Schools around Jimboomba also contributed a handwritten Christmas card. 150 cards were delivered to vulnerable members of the community to help spread some festive joy and let them know that they are being thought of!

Image Description: The far left image is of four of our Movement to Music program clients and Kamini gathered at the party. One client is seated and writing a Christmas card. The middle photo is of three clients of our Movement to Music program and Kamini (Personal Trainer). The far right photo is of Movement to Music program client Vonnie seated at a table as she writes a Christmas card. Vonnie is wearing a red Christmas t-shirt and Santa hat.
