On Wednesday 18 October, Able Australia held our Ipswich Seniors Expo at the Ipswich showgrounds.

We invited Seniors and Senior service providers to the event to connect with one another, share information, participate in group activities, and also celebrate Seniors Month.

Around 350 Seniors and 50 providers attended this years event. We had catering by students of Ipswich TAFE and entertainment by the children of Raceview Kindergarten, and an exercise session from our Movement to Music personal trainer. The Nutbush was particularly popular!

Thank you to Bunnings Bundamba and Brothers Leagues Club for their kind donations to our Lucky Door Prizes. Thank you also to Ipswich City Council for both the grant to help fund the Expo, and for the kind support of Council staff with set up and on the day.

Huge thank you to all the our staff and volunteers who helped make this day so special.
