Every year, our Queensland team put together 100 food and toy hampers which are provided to families and individuals who are experiencing financial distress. We want to ensure that everyone has a merry Christmas, no matter their circumstances.

For the last 5 years, McAuley College have assisted us with a toy drive so we can provide gifts with the Christmas hampers. This year, McAuley College handed over 6 trolleys of gifts! Riley, who is a McAuley College student and son of Able Australia Team Leader, Victoria, instigated the toy drive at his school 5 years ago. Riley was also a big help in packing the hampers and will assist in handing them out to vulnerable members of the community.

Below is an image of the trolleys full of Christmas gifts from McAuley College and an image of the complete food hampers. Below is also a photo of Able Australia Community Transport Manager, Edmund McMahon, speaking at an assembly as he accepts the gifts, standing next to McAuley College student, Riley.

Thank you to McAuley College for your generosity and support. We are also so thankful and proud of our Queensland team for all your hard work in spreading Christmas cheer to everyone in the community.
