We are excited to announce that our Northcote Day Centre is officially back open as of today (12 January)!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we temporarily closed our state-of-the-art centre to keep our clients safe. We were able to slowly open it back up with a limited capacity.
Now we are back open for our clients, and can continue to help create better days, every day for our clients! We know there are many clients who have been waiting for this day to arrive for a very long time.
Our new Northcote Day centre includes state-of-the-art Tech Lab, Sensory Room, Sensory Garden, Kitchen with adjustable benches and sink and Art Therapy room. The Centre offers a range of community and centre based activities that support our clients to reach their full potential. This includes…
Community Based:
- Swimming and walking groups,
- Bowling, library and cinema outings,
- Horse riding, and
- Volunteering and employment support.
Centre Based:,
- Healthy lifestyle workshops (i.e. cooking and guided relaxation),
- Assistive technology and educational groups,
- Therapeutic art groups, and
- Personal development skill building groups.
