We are excited to announce that a hub of newly-built SDA homes in Heidelberg VIC was recently opened, providing homes for four Able clients!

The houses have been designed to include a high level of accessibility including safe accessway, adjustable benches, high contrast colours and textural design features, accessible bathrooms and assistive technology for opening doors and windows.

Clients and their families were heavily involved in the design process to ensure the house met the clients’ needs and choices. Clients got to choose design features like their preferred flooring coverings, and feature walls.

To celebrate, we held a housewarming party on 23 July!
