Love was in the air—and so was friendship—at our second consecutive Friendship Day celebration, held not long after Valentine’s Day. This special event brought together participants and their friends for a heartwarming day filled with creativity, connection, and community spirit.
Stewart, Samantha, Baruch, Samuel, George and their friends kicked things off by writing thoughtful cards to someone special in their lives—be it a friend, a family member, or a support worker.
Everyone also had the chance to gift a potted plant to someone they care about. These plants were generously donated by Bunnings Hawthorn, brought an extra touch of joy to the day and helped spread smiles all around.
To top it off, we gathered for a delicious BBQ lunch, enjoying good food and even better company. It was a perfect way to celebrate the power of friendship and the importance of meaningful social connection.
We’re already looking forward to next year!
