On the 29 and 20 August 2022, we held a two-day communication guide training this week at Able Australia National Office.
Trainers were Dr Meredith Prain, Heather Lawson, Bronwen Scott, Dennis Witcombe. Trainees learnt about the role of the commguide, communication strategies, methods and techniques, and how to safely and confidently guide a person with deafblindness.
It was a great success and we can’t wait to host more training sessions in the future!
