Recently, we have been making some fun and unforgettable memories during many different outings and activities as a part of our Young Adult Program (YAP) in Tasmania.

This includes a day spent at the Hagley Farm School in Launceston. Jack, Karen, Darren, Josh, Coby and their friends took part in a range of fun activities at Hagley Farm School, such as taking a walking tour of the historic classroom and museum, candle making, taking a ride on the back of a tractor and also hand feeding some of the farm animals.

Jack and Coby also enjoyed the sunshine whilst fishing in Launceston and surrounding areas such as Beauty Point, Bridport, Deviot and Longford. Coby was also very happy with his catchers of the day!

Coby and his friends from YAP visited the Platypus House where they had the opportunity to learn and watch live Tasmanian Platypuses and Echidnas in daylight undercover conditions.

Our YAP clients also had a blast petting lots of different animals at The Little Things Farm and learning self defence.

Other recent activities include an information session with a dietician, bowling, circus, horse riding, swimming, pottery class, First Aid course, a Tamar Cruise and much more.

Thank you to Brian M. Davis Charitable Foundation for making these fun activities a reality, and helping to create Better Days, Every Day for our clients at Able.
