In loving memory of Edward (Ted) Pawley.

Ted Pawley sadly passed away on 29th of March 2020.

Ted held high respect in his family and in his community. Towards the end of WW2, at 18 years of age, Ted enlisted in the Royal Australian Airforce (RAAF) and served in Australia and Papua New Guinea as a Signalman.

After the war, Ted met Mary, whom he married. Together, they made a home and raised a wonderful family.

Ted and Mary faithfully attended to the needs of relatives and friends. Ted was a handy-man around home and an adventurer on many family camping trips including Buchan and Bermagui.

In retirement, Ted was active in Legacy and a keen member of the Frank Sinatra Society.

“We are proud of the contributions Ted made over the years to Able Australia.” – On behalf of his children, Steven, Andrew, David, Geraldine and Deborah.

Ted Pawley was an Able Australia donor since 2003, and left a lovely gift in his Will to Able Australia. We are so grateful for his support and kindness. Able Australia would not be the same without wonderful people such as Ted, and we offer our deepest sympathies to his family for their loss.
