Centre of Excellence – Deafblind (CoE – DB)

The Centre of Excellence – Deafblind in partnership with Able Australia’s Deafblind Services, Allied Health team and Deafblind Victoria runs a 2 day Communication Guide training program four times a year.

Topics covered include:

• What is a Communication Guide?

• Professionalism and ethics

• Deafblind communication methods and approaches

• Orientation and mobility including guiding skills

• Technology
