Recently in May, clients from our Lifestyle Choices and Young Adults program in Tasmania attended the Equine Program! This program was set up by Rebecca from Reclink Northern Tasmania, and is open for all members of the community to join in on the fun.
Our clients had the opportunity to brush, feed and ride the horses at the Country Club Casino in Launceston which they thoroughly enjoyed!
Three of our participants, Jack, Theresa and Karen, were especially interested in riding the horses. The facility has a platform that was built so our clients could mount the horses safely and with ease.
Our clients had a fantastic time riding the horses while they were led around by experts at the facility. These horses were especially chosen for their quiet nature and experience.
