Able Australia hosted a Gala Luncheon and Expo in Ipswich in celebration of Queensland Seniors Week and what a tremendous success it turned out to be.
With over 200 seniors attending, 37 organisations as exhibitors and the wonderful entertainment of Graham Hobson the Ipswich Civic Centre was buzzing. A special appearance from Senior Constable Clancy from the Queensland Police Service was a wonderful addition to a very memorable day. The Able Transport team excelled themselves in transporting our guests to and from the event. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback and feel so proud to have been able to provide the seniors of Ipswich and surrounding areas with such a quality and enjoyable event. Thank you to our MC Sergeant Nadine Webster from the Queensland Police Service and the Ipswich City Council for supporting the event.
Queensland Seniors Week provides opportunities to promote positive community attitudes towards older people and ageing, facilitate community participation, and enhance community connections, aligning with the Queensland Government’s vision of building age-friendly communities in Queensland.
