Old Beach, Tasmania – Supported Independent Living – Vacancy available

This recently painted bright and spacious home includes a modern open plan living and dining area. The home is a short walk to the beach and bus stop.

A three bedroom house (one room is allocated to support staff) which includes a spacious BBQ area and raised garden beds and just a short stroll to the beach! Pets would be considered as agreed by all tenants. 

Shared spaces include kitchen with open plan living/dining, reverse cycle air conditioning and single remote garage with internal access.

  • Tea Tree, Tasmania – Supported Independent Living – Vacancy available

This fully accessible, four bedroom house includes an undercover BBQ area, multiple living areas and even pet sheep!

The house is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including overnight (active night model) and would suit someone on the autism spectrum.

The house is supported between 3:00pm – 9:00am during the week and 24 hours on weekends.

The room available is spacious and includes built in wardrobes and access to TV aerial. A king single bed is provided or you can bring your own.

Each room includes reverse cycle heating and cooling. As the current tenants are all male, the house would suit a male aged between 30-60 years of age.

Glenorchy, Tasmania – Supported Independent Living – Vacancy available

Able Australia has a four bedroom house with a room vacancy for an individual with NDIS Supported Independent Living funding. The house is well suited to a 35+ year old person who likes to access the community and enjoys using public transport.

The house is supported between 3:00pm – 9:00am during the week and 24 hours on weekends.

The household is a mix of participants who actively participate in household chores and those who are unable.

The house would not suit a person who has outbursts as it may have a negative impact on the existing residents (2 male, 1 female 37-56 years of age)
