CREATE A LASTING IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITIES
There are more than 5,905 people under 65 years of age who live in residential aged care facilities across Australia. Of these 5,905 people, 188 are under 45 years of age. The aged care system is not equipped to meet all the needs of younger people with disability.
You can help us to make this dream a reality.
Why Donate?
The concern here is the lack of suitable housing for people with disabilities. The problem is huge, but we have made a firm commitment to do our bit.
How Will it Help?
Fundraising and donations ensure that people we support can have experiences that are not provided for by government funding. Your support enables to provide residential care to more than 130 people living with severe and multiple disabilities.
Where does your money go?
This Christmas, our goal is to raise $200,000, which will be used to build two single-unit homes in Moorabbin, Victoria that will be designed and equipped to suit their special needs

SUPPORT INDEPENDENT LIVING
Whether in your own home or one managed by Able, we support you to live as independently as possible. By getting to know you and understanding your interests, likes/dislikes and goals for the future, we can map out the best possible programs to support you at home.
DEAFBLIND SERVICES
We understand the requirements of those with deafblindness and have programs specifically designed for people with dual sensory loss or impairment. Our team and facilities provide you a safe and comfortable space to meet others, work toward your goals and encourage independence when engaging in the wider community.
DIGITAL LITERACY
Through our unique e-communications program, Ablelink, we will provide you with personalised technology assessments and training to develop your digital literacy skills so you can remain in regular contact with family and friends.
DAY PROGRAMS
Our flexible, highly skilled staff ensure your needs of social interaction, safety, personal care and overall enjoyment are fully met. We promote independence and seek to support you in developing a variety of social and life skills.
