Do you enjoy being out in the community and meeting new people? Are you passionate and caring? Join our events team who run local events for seniors to prevent social isolation. This includes safety seminars, expos, workshops, exercise sessions and a variety of diverse community events. Help us engage and keep senior residents connected in their community.

Our aim is to prevent social isolation among our senior community through community education and events. Community events assist to improve mental wellbeing, increase awareness and connect our community. This fun and rewarding role will involve event assistance and community education across the Ipswich & West Moreton Region. Duties include; greeting with a smile and assisting with distribution of information/brochures, greet and register guests, serving tea and coffee, packing information bags, on occasion setting up and packing up of tables and chairs may be required. An Events Ambassador will speak to community groups about Able’s services and will discuss the many programs on offer to our senior community.
